It can be a little daunting walking into a new environment, below are some FAQ that will hopefully answer all of your immediate questions. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
Where can I park?
NCP Chester Street car park is located at the rear of the church building. Sat Nav postcode RG4 8JH.
What do I do when I arrive?
As you walk into the building there will be ushers to welcome you and assist you with anything that you need - a bible, hymn book or finding a seat.
What should I wear?
You can 'come as you are' We want you to feel comfortable when you join us for a worship service. People wear anything from jeans and t-shirts, business casual to Sunday best with fancy hats. No one will treat you differently based on what you are wearing.
I won't know anyone. Can I have a chat with someone before I visit?
If you don't know anyone when you arrive, we guarantee you will before you leave! If you would prefer to meet someone beforehand, contact us today and we can arrange for you to meet us in person before the service or have a chat over the phone.
What are the services like?
What about money collection box?
As a guest, you won't be singled out or asked to participate in the money collection. We're happy to have you with us and want you to enjoy yourself and learn more about what Reading NTCG has to offer.
What about my kids?
We offer bible teachings for every age group, and make learning about Jesus fun. While you enjoy a worship service designed for you, your children will enjoy an experience geared to their learning level.
I work on Sundays, can my kids attend Sunday School without me?
Yes! Get in touch with your home address and we can arrange for the Sunday School bus to collect your kid(s). You must ensure someone is home to receive them when we return them.
Do you have disabled access?
Yes we have stairlift to access the toilets and there are no stairs into the building.
Do you provide teas and coffees before/after service?
We currently do not provide teas and coffees, it is something we may do in the future.
