Where can I park?

NCP Chester Street car park is located at the rear of the church building. Sat Nav postcode RG4 8JH. It's FREE to park on Sundays! We suggest you arrive 15 - 20 minutes prior to the service time to allow yourself time to park and find a seat.

What do I do when I arrive?

Answer

As you walk into the building there will be ushers to welcome you and assist you with anything that you need - a bible, hymn book or finding a seat.

What should I wear?

Answer

You can 'come as you are' We want you to feel comfortable when you join us for a worship service. People wear anything from jeans and t-shirts, business casual to Sunday best with fancy hats. No one will treat you differently based on what you are wearing.

I won't know anyone. Can I have a chat with someone before I visit?

Answer

If you don't know anyone when you arrive, we guarantee you will before you leave! If you would prefer to meet someone beforehand, contact us today and we can arrange for you to meet us in person before the service or have a chat over the phone.

What are the services like?

Answer

Services usually run for two hours: 1hr of songs led by our Worship team, prayers, church notices and around 1hr of sermon by our Pastor or guest speaker. The music is a mixture of contemporary and traditional accompained by a live band. Teaching is from the Bible. Elder church members address each other as "Brother" or "Sister", young members tend to use first names. Children aged 3 - 11 years old attend their own church service in a room within the building.

What about money collection box?

As a guest, you won't be singled out or asked to participate in the money collection. We're happy to have you with us and want you to enjoy yourself and learn more about what Reading NTCG has to offer.

Question 7

What about my kids?

Answer

We offer bible teachings for every age group, and make learning about Jesus fun. While you enjoy a worship service designed for you, your children will enjoy an experience geared to their learning level. All teacher volunteers are DBS checked.

Question 8

I work on Sundays, can my kids attend Sunday School without me?

Answer

Yes! Get in touch with your home address and we can arrange for the Sunday School bus to collect your kid(s). You must ensure someone is home to receive them when we return them.

Question 9

Do you have disabled access?

Answer

Yes we have stairlift to access the toilets and there are no stairs into the building.

Do you provide teas and coffees before/after service?

Answer

We currently do not provide teas and coffees, it is something we may do in the future.
